Shearwater Range

The Gullwing Shearwater medium sized trailers for 5m to 7m+ craft are all based on the same 1500mm wide, braked frame, offering a choice of three gross towing weights in single axle configuration: 1,300kg, 1,500kg and 1,800kg. In double axle configuration gross towing weights of 2,200kg, 2,600kg and 3,500kg are offered.

Heavier craft up to 7m+ in length are well catered for with the Shearwater range from Gullwing. With their wide 1500mm frames and choice of single or twin braked axles these are ideally suited for powerful speedboats or multi-engined RIBs.

As with all Gullwing aluminium trailers, their low unladen weights make them easier to manoeuvre than traditional steel trailers, ideal for getting them into position for craft recovery. With the top end RollerRamp^® models, recovery is made easier still - simply line up your boat up and start to winch. The loading ramp slope at the end of the rails assists in lifting the bow, leading the rest of the craft on to the horizontal part of the roller ramps.

The range of nine models offers something for everyone, with a choice of two frame widths, each with a choice of three load carrying configurations - the iGlide Bunk system, pivoting beam Multi-Rollers, or the revolutionary RollerRamp® - an ideal way to completely dispel the misery suffered by anyone who’s tried to beach launch from a bunked trailer!

Gullwing mid-range trailers are the perfect choice for applications where braked axles are required by law - the lighter chassis mean more boat carrying capacity than any other comparable sized trailers in the marketplace.
